Richard Owen is a native of Nampa, ID and has been practicing law in the area since April of 1981. Mr. Owen has helped the residents of the Treasure Valley in state as well as federal court for their injury claims. He has also represented them before the Idaho Industrial Commission and the Idaho Supreme Court.
Mr. Owen is board certified as a specialist in workers' compensation cases by the Idaho Trial Lawyers and the Idaho State Bar Association. He has been the president of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and the Idaho Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2014. He was also elected as the first claimant lawyer in the state of Idaho to the College of Workers Compensation lawyers, a national Association of Workers Compensation Lawyers and Judges.
Since joining the firm, David Farney has represented injured
Idahoans in matters pending in District Court as well as the Idaho Industrial
Commission. Mr. Farney has tried several worker's compensation cases
before the Idaho Industrial Commission involving matters ranging from disputed
medical care to total and permanent disability benefits.
Mr. Farney is currently the Vice Chairperson of the Worker's
Compensation Section of the Idaho State Bar, and is licensed to practice in
Idaho's State and Federal Courts. Mr. Farney has a bachelor's degree in
Kinesiology from Washburn University and a JD from the University of Idaho
College of Law.
